My friend Stephen Simon has taken on a big mission that has a great deal of personal meaning for me: Making the film, CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD: THE HUMAN STORY. As you may know, I never felt comfortable allowing mainstream Hollywood to make a movie of the books. I worried that compromises would have to be made that sacrificed the purity of the material. Stephen and his Spiritual Cinema Circle are committing the time, money and energy to making the movie our way. I've been involved with every step of the process so far, and it is turning out to audiences around the world. A few weeks ago, on August 6th, our beloved Sapphire Harvey, who's spent so much time on setting up our Humanity's Team Forum Program, sent out a prayer request for Nathan. Here's an excerpt from that request: "We have a Teammate in Montreal who can
really use as much Loving energy as we can possibly send him. Nathan is 29
years old. He is a member of both the HT and CwG discussion forums. From
what his uncle has shared, last Wednesday, Nathan suffered a series of seizures,
during which his brain was deprived of oxygen for an unknown amount of
time. The degree of damage is, as yet, unknown. His uncle (who is
also apparently a strong spiritual influence in Nathan's life based on posts
Nathan has made in the past) has indicated that his situation is extremely
serious. Based on what his uncle said, I have the impression that Nathan
is not conscious and that there is concern he may not regain
consciousness. One of the purposes of Humanity's Team is to provide spiritual aid where it's needed. Sapphire has brought that to our attention, and Humanity's Teammates have responded, as usual, with positive and loving energy. Just two days later, Sapphire was pleased to send this email out to all our teammates: "I have great news...Yesterday (Sunday) Nathan regained consciousness. He recognizes all of us. The doctor has removed the respirator and most of the tubes and stuff they had attached him to. He remembers all of you and wants me to thank you for your prayers and wishes...at this time he has not regained all his memory. He has problems of coordination...he is not quite himself yet. The medical staff have literally called it a miracle...no kidding! Please let everyone know that he is out of danger. What damages will be left to his brain, we will know as the weeks go by. From myself and my sister, I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. All the prayers from all who love him have brought him back to us. Please let everyone know, I'm too tired to send many emails, you understand. Besides we have been left with one income and I have got to get some kind of paying job. It's going to have to be something easy to do because I'm in bad shape myself. Send a prayer for that too. lol That too is going to take a miracle, seeing the world we live in.... Love to all of you and thanks." Now isn't that what it's all about - using the power of prayer to show that error has no power; that We Are All One in Love? Thanks, Humanity's Team, for yet another job well done!!
Humanity's Team is a grassroots "civil rights movement for the soul". We know we have to start with one person and continually grow to gradually include all people, in sharing the wonderful message that "We are all one". That one person was, and is, Neale Donald Walsch, as many of you know. All Neale's Conversations with God writings have conveyed that message. Now it's our job to spread the message. And there's no doubt that we're growing and spreading the message. When you think about it, isn't it inevitable that God's message will eventually be heard? After all, isn't that reality? Every living soul wants to wake up and remember Who He Really Is. And it's our "job" to re-mind all our brothers and sisters that We Are All One. Did you notice that we've changed the name of our Core Team to our Coordination Team? That's because, although they remain to be the core of Humanity's Team Canada, they've created such progression that we've produced a Coordination Team, a team that creates from the core of God to the Coordination of groups, communication, and every other area that applies to the progression of Humanity's Team. Humanity's Team Canada is a leader in growth and progression. Their teammates have proven that theirs is an expression of unconditional love, of sharing and caring, of moving ahead towards a common goal - the goal of Oneness! So as we introduce these teammates, let's gather together in celebrating their kindness, their creativity, their beauty, their love, their expansion, their unlimited abundance, and their receptivity - all the intentions that bring peace to mankind. Here is our Canadian Coordination Team Country Coordinator - Brandon Klayman A Closer Look at our TeamNew members are welcomed into Humanity's Team Canada on a regular basis. This is a wonderful sign of the progressive growth of our team, and of the progressive spreading of the message, that We Are All One. So, thank you, teammates, for all you do and All You Are. Here's our latest addition to the Provincial Coordinator position: Robbie Hayes. In Robbie's introduction to himself, it's quite apparent that he has a great sense of humor. And that's so inspiring, seeing as how God is the creator of humor. So let's let Robbie introduce himself: "I have recently been accepted into the position of HT Alberta Regional Coordinator. I wish to thank Tanya for considering me as someone who fits the bill. :) Thank you to Brandon as well for not asking for a note from my mother as part of the process. :) It's great to be part of the team. ...Now, at this time in my life, all the self work I have been doing over the years is about ready to take me to a new level of Self....I started attending HT Calgary meetings recently and have really enjoyed them....With so many people sleepwalking it's important to know there are people of like mind who have awoken and want to LIVE LIFE, instead of just existing-wondering-hoping...It is time to get involved, to DO through BEing. This world needs to hear the message of CwG, and we can make that happen. Correction - we have made that happen. :) This is the mission I see before us. It is time to awaken and re-mind our brothers and sisters that we are One. It is time to re-mind them of Who They Really Are. It is time to re-mind them of a version of God that includes all of us in unconditional love. It is time to give people back to themselves. In this way, people are once again empowered to change their world, and in doing so to change the world at large. This is what I see as our mission. This is the core message of CwG... ...Let me end by stating some things toward creating the reality I choose to create. CwG has taught me that I do not need to pray to God or to hope. This is the message of the old God who was designed to make us give up our power and live in fear and desperation. CwG's God gives us back to ourselves. 'I am God - I Am the Power of Creation. (say it to yourselves, folks). We Create. We are God.' And in this light I state: Humanity's Team has found its true direction as inspired by God beyond ego. HT has grown by leaps and bounds, smoothly and easily. HT has given the people back to themselves and changed the world for the better. This is done. Right here. Some Special MentionsThere are people who seem to step up to the plate, who excel in times of need, who live to fill a void that needs to be filled. That's obviously the kind of people that Humanity's Team Canada attracts. We'd like to acknowledge some of those special people that have put in special efforts on behalf of Humanity's Team Canada. First of all, there's a guy named John Ross. What can we say about John, except that he's so committed, so dedicated to Humanity's Team's cause and mission. In our community, we like to think of John as Onederful. Why? Well, since he's taken on the position of Humanity's Team Ontario Coordinator, he's made a substantial effort to connect with groups all around the province. He's visited team meetings in London, Barrie, and Mississauga. And he plans to venture out of the province to Montreal, and then to Calgary. Now that's commitment! Thanks, John Ross, for all you do, and All You Are. Another member of Humanity's Team Canada who's shown exceptional commitment to our cause is Tanya Dixon. Way to go, Tanya! You're a shining example of what a Humanity's Teammate is all about. Recently, Tanya has graciously and courageously accepted the position of our first Canadian Geography Coordination Role. She combines that position with her role as Humanity's Team West Canadian Coordinator. With the strength of her light, there's no doubt that Tanya will radiate throughout Canada, and eventually, throughout the globe. We'd also like to send a special welcome to Sylvia Whitworth, an experienced event coordinator who's heard the calling to direct her special talents to Humanity's Team, to help us advance towards completion of our mission - to create as many opportunities as possible to express and expand our message: We Are All One!

This section of our Newsletter gives you, the reader, the opportunity to contribute some words of wisdom to share with all our other readers. Any kind of input or feedback is welcomed here. And this month, we thank Judy Harper for this wonderfully inspiring article she submitted: Synchronicities ARE AMAZING GIFTS... Ask for them - You'll Get Them!There it was! Just a brown cardboard container about three times the size of a breadbox. It lay rejected - I guess by the garbage collector - on the sidewalk beside an overturned trashcan. Any other driver on the street that day would have recognized its original purpose too. It was a child’s toy chest with crude gold straps painted around a humped lid, and an ostentatious lock securing once sacred treasures. And I immediately felt like a child – giddy - like when a bouquet of flowers suddenly erupts from a magician’s wand. And as my glance was solidly pulled to the left - I suppose so I wouldn’t miss it - I felt the impact physically. Here was yet another exquisite message from the universe - tailored just for me! I recognized that little sensation low in my solar plexus. In my experience, something inside seems to touch ground. It reminds me of the reassuring feeling I enjoy (a weak swimmer) when my toes hit bottom and I know I am only a step away from safety. These days, occurrences that sometimes prefer to brush off as merely ‘coincidences’, crop up with amazing frequency in the lives of many of us. I choose to interpret each synchronicity – an external occurrence, or series of them, that currently has particular meaning to the observer because it coincides so exactly with relevant thoughts/concerns - as a boost to my confidence. I always read it as a ‘thumbs up’. You go girl! Sometimes, the synchronicity ‘dawns on us’ while we are watching television or listening to music on the radio. Synchronous moments can happen when we read a magazine in a waiting room, a newspaper headline at the corner kiosk, or the slogan on an advertising billboard. Conversations between strangers overheard in the grocery store line or information shared during ‘phone conversations with a friend can trigger that amazing ‘click’ too. The only thing you need to do is to be in the present moment wherever you are. And be open to possibilities so that the synchronicity has a chance to register on your consciousness awareness. I welcomed that particular sign from the universe because the previous night, after a week of laboring over the details of a new venture, I had slept little. Even though the dream had been forming in my heart forever, I still had doubts. After years of gestation and nurturing, the dream was finally born from the creative juices of my soul. On paper at least, I had exposed its shape to the world. Immediately, physically and emotionally exhausted after giving birth to such a big baby – I could feel my courage failing. Like many of us, when we know we must begin to tackle something new, I was afraid on some levels. I had started doubting my wisdom, my direction and my conviction. I was listening to that insistent voice - the piece of my ego that always used to stop me from attaining my dreams. Not any more! That day, I remembered to form the following phrase in my mind: “Please give me some sign – something to tell me that I’m not just chasing silly rainbows.” And then I immediately forgot it and went on with my plans. It was about two hours later that, while attending to an errand, the confirmation vividly manifested – the absolutely perfect synchronicity. As usual, I was moved to tears. My dream had been to create Pandora Workshop Retreats. And along with other unique learning tools, my teammates and I had decided to incorporate actual treasure chests – smaller versions of what I was looking at on the sidewalk: The heart (chest) or fourth chakra, according to my interpretation of the Greek myth in The Pandora Process: Emerging Intact is the wellspring of hope remaining at the bottom after Pandora opens the lid and the ills plaguing humanity escape. I took a second look in my rearview mirror – just to be sure – and then silently offered my gratitude. The child’s treasure chest couldn’t have been any more perfect - on so many more levels than I’ve related here! It was simply too much of a coincidence to be coincidental! And whether the garbage collector left the discarded chest behind – with its lid hanging by one hinge - before or after my request for confirmation about my direction – well…it’s just one in the incredible crowd of mysteries that are changing lives everywhere on the planet these days. An awareness that synchronicities are always there for us is like discovering your personal sorcerer’s kit. Like magic, you’ll manifest confirmation and courage, two of the essential ingredients in the self-empowerment process. You can make your dreams come true. Try it! Take a quiet moment to ask for answers and direction – and then begin to recognize your personal signposts. Allow your consciousness to expand to all the wondrous possibilities your life has in store for you. This Help Wanted ad is as close as we come to a Classified Section. Although we don't make a habit of using this newsletter for advertising, we feel that this is a special situation.
