Loving Greetings!
HT Canada joins HT Worldwide, with its thousands of teammates surrounding this wonderful planet Earth, in embracing the message of Neale Donald Walsch. This message, ultimately God's message, is one of truth, joy and love, all in no particular order and all interchangeable. Put those together and we have the only message that needs to be heard throughout the world; and that is: We Are All One. This is the most important message in the world today. Why? Because that is what it's going to take to change the direction society seems to be going in right now. "We Are All One", and "Truth, Joy, Love". That is what people need to hear, to experience, to share, to be!
Do you feel the need to spread this message around the world? Neale Donald Walsch did. And that's why he's written one book after another, each focusing on one central, and extremely important, message: It's time for a change!
Do we sound passionate? You bet we are! Because passion gets things done. Passion has always been the driving force behind any worthwhile project or movement. And this is a "civil rights movement for the soul". This is a movement, if shared and practiced, that definitely will change the world. Imagine it! Every person in the world seeing his brother as part of himself. Every person in the world being part of his brother. Every person in the world understanding that we are all one! No more need to be right. No more need to be the best. No more need to be first. No more need...period!
That is what Humanity's Team is all about - understanding and knowing that We Are All One. So why would we do anything to someone else that we wouldn't do to ourselves? We wouldn't need to. For, in reality, there is no need. There is only Truth, Joy and Love. And, of course, peace. So if you want to live in a peaceful world - totally peaceful, with no wars or fighting or abuse or poverty of any kind - then all you want to do is encourage everyone you know (and even those you don't know) to join Humanity's Team. Join a team who's sole purpose - and Soul Purpose - is to live Love and enjoy Life.

My dear friends...
A Miracle is occurring on the earth right now, and it looks like a continuous calamity.
A Miracle is occurring right in front of our faces, and it looks like something is going on behind our backs and catching us off guard.
What is occurring is the transformation of our civilization. We are, at last, to become civilized.
Civilizations become civilized when it becomes apparent that being uncivilized is simply no longer acceptable, desirable, or sustainable. Civilized behavior emerges spontaneously and civilized characteristics reveal themselves miraculously at times of cataclysm. Disaster calls forth the worst of us and the best of us—and, seeing both in full view, we turn in revulsion from the cruelty of our old Small Selves and move into the full flowering of our better nature and the manifestation of our new Big Selves. Where once we could but crawl, now we are ready to fly.
This is the moment of metamorphosis, the end of the caterpillar, the emerging of the butterfly. What seems a disaster to the former reveals itself as a miracle to the latter.
What is occurring on the earth right now is the emerging of a new way to experience life. In a sense, a new life form itself. This miracle of metamorphosis is taking place over many months spanning several years—a period of time which is, in geophysical terms, a single elongated moment. From the perspective of the Universe it is the blink of an eye.
The moment began in December, 2004 with the tsunami on the Asian rim. It continued in 2005 with hurricanes Katrina and Rita in the United States and Stan in Southern Mexico and Central America. (The incredible 2005 Atlantic hurricane season continues at this writing. With more than a month still left to go in the official 2005 hurricane season, along comes Vince, the 20th named storm of the season and the first tropical cyclone in history to make landfall in Spain.) The moment has made itself manifest again with the earthquake in the Himalayan region of Kashmir, and it appears to be preparing to transcend individual locations and ignore all borders, presenting itself as the clear possibility of a worldwide bird flu pandemic that, if it jumps to humans, could be deadly to millions.
In many ways it looks as if our earth is falling apart. There are those who say that these events are evidence of the End Times—that God is wrecking vengeance on the humanity at last for its wickedness. Yet this is not God’s vengeance, but God’s blessing. This is not the Tribulation, but the Transformation. Our earth is not falling apart, but falling together for the first time.
Have you noticed? These calamities have brought the world together. America sent its condolences and offered its help when the tsunami devastated Indonesia—a largely Muslim region. Iran sent its condolences and offered its help when Katrina devastated America—a largely Judeo-Christian nation.
Many people are dying as this miracle is occurring. No one is dying in vain, and no one is leaving their physical life against their will. All have chosen at a superconscious level to use their lives to allow this miracle to unfold.
All death fuels a miracle. That miracle is called life. Death births life, and makes it possible. All death is, in this way, a gift. Without death, life cannot go on. This is true universally. It is true of a dying star in the heavens, and of a dying plant, animal, or person on the earth.
All life forms die to form new life. There is no other reason to die, and no one and nothing dies for any reason other than this. Death is therefore not the end of life, but the beginning. No one and nothing that dies fails to continue living, but merely does so in another way.
Everyone is a butterfly.
Those who go on living in another way, in the spiritual realm, experience the bliss of reunion with God—the Pure Essence of Life, the All In All that is Everything There Is. They then move forward in glory on their evolutionary journey, encountering the wondrous joys that all of us have imagined as heaven.
In every sense, the deaths surrounding these disasters now visiting our planet are a blessing, both to those who have left the earth and to those who remain.
This sounds like blasphemy—yet all great truth begins as blasphemy, and every great miracle begins as disaster. It must, for without a disaster, a miracle would not be necessary. (Nor would it even be possible.)
Disasters set the stage for miracles, and are part of them.
See these days on our earth, therefore, not as Days of Disaster, but as Days of the Divine, expressed. For life informs life about life through the process of life itself, and we are informing ourselves about ourselves, that we might know ourselves as who we really are.
This is not a time to lose faith, but a time to find it, not a time to hope for a miracle, but a time to perform one.
And what miracle, exactly, may we perform?
The miracle of love, brought into physicality through acts of heartfelt giving, through moments of pure service, through times of fervent prayer. This is what we have to offer each other during these world-shaking catastrophes that kill thousands and displace hundreds of thousands and impact millions.
Many human beings are already performing these miracles every day. We send our highest thoughts to those in turmoil. We send our gifts to those in need. We meditate and we pray and we hold the world in light. We are seeing ourselves as one family. We experience that we are truly All One.
Humanity is in the process of recreating itself anew, in the next grandest version of the greatest vision ever it had about itself. Upheaval precedes such massive re-creation. As noted, some people will give their present physical lives that humanity as a whole may continue to evolve. We hold in the highest place in the depth of our being those who have done so. We see their higher purpose, and we pledge to honor their gift with a gift of our own: the building of a newer world.
We will do this by using our present disasters as deliverances—delivering us from our own ideas of evil, for ours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever, if we will but create it and use it and bestow it upon each other, thus to truly Know God in us, as us, and through us, now and always, and all ways.
The world needs you now. The world needs you if you see what is happening in our world in this way. It is time for you to move into Messengership. For not everyone will understand what is occurring and will occur. Not every caterpillar will understand the miracle before emerging from its cocoon.
You do, now. Therefore bring comfort to the bereaved, help to the afflicted, clarity to the confused, and support to those who would bring understanding to others. Find each other and support each other and join with each other in a global movement to explain the miracle—and to live it.

A Message from our New Country Coordinator |
After one year of dedicated, committed, and loving service to Humanity's Team, Brandon Klayman has stepped aside as Canada's Country Coordinator. Brandon's love has been felt by all he touched, and we all appreciate, from the depths of our hearts and souls, his contribution to the unprecedented growth in Humanity's Team Canada. Thank you so much, Brandon.
And now it's time for a new leader to step up. And step up he has! John Ross has the time, the resources, the means - everything necessary to serve Humanity's Team as Canada's Coordinator. And we welcome him with open and loving arms. Brandon has passed the torch to John, and we know that John will carry it, shining its light to brighten every dark corner of the country, bringing light and love to all and, above all, setting the example by spreading the message of Humanity's Team: We Are All One.
And now a word from John:
Since my ego lost its license to practice in late November of last
year, my life has been filled with little surprises as I get to know my
authentic Self, the indestructible and eternal Self God created whenever that
occurred. One such surprise occurred in early August of this year, when I
had an epiphany around the issue of my life vision. Most examples of a life's
visions include possessions and wealth - things like a dream house, living a
dream existence, or taking dream vacations. And none of these things do much for
me. Partly because of this, the work I had previously done on this issue had
left me cold, which is a sure sign that it missed the mark.
What I
discovered in my epiphany was that my life vision needed to be austere. My life
vision needed to be simple and patterned after people of service. People like
Mother Teresa and her austere life of service to the poor and downtrodden.
People like Buddha, who left a life of wealth and privilege in his search for
enlightenment. People like Jesus, who consistently eschewed wealth and worldly
power.
A week or two prior to this epiphany, I had a short and casual
meeting with a fellow HTer in London, Ontario and I was struck by his dedication
to making this world a better place, to being a part of positive change here on
planet Earth. Neither of us had a well developed sense of how that might be
done, but both of us knew we were there for each other and that we were onto
something good in Humanity's Team, something that with time and maturity will be
a significant contributor to positive change.
Sharing time, energy and
commitment with people like Mike in London, and with people like you, has become
my life vision. Giving of my Self and of my talents and resources to groups both
large and small that target the greater good, has become my life vision. This
has energized me. This has tapped into my wellspring of passion and I feel
privileged and honored to be able to share with you a portion of my developing
vision for Humanity's Team here in Canada.
My vision as Canadian
Coordinator was the subject of a morning walk with Bev. She expressed the
concern that "What are we to do?" was presently being inadequately addressed
organizationally. As I began to address her concern and articulated my
viewpoints, I found some powerful submerged themes.
As Humanity's Team
grows in numbers and in influence, one of our congruent and legitimate targets
is to align the efforts of Humanity's Team and of all of Humanity with actions
and initiatives that preserve Planet Earth. More and more, the Earth is being
recognized as an entity with its own spirit and with its own voice. As the
Earth's dominant species, Humanity must strive to align our collective voice
with the voice of Planet Earth, and align our actions with actions that preserve
the Earth and all its diversity.
Gone will be violence, gone will be
exploitation. As an illustration of the distance we have to travel, consider the
words we presently have for non-violence, and for non-exploitation. At present,
we can only express them as a lack of something negative. Surely words the
equivalent of peace, the positive and opposite of war are appropriate and will
be created.
That must be and will be the ultimate objective of Humanity's
Team; to be a force for harmony, for preservation, and for the love of life.
But, we have to start somewhere and in today's world that objective is largely
unsupported. Therefore, we have to begin with inner journeys. There is no other
place to begin. Until any of us reached a level of inner maturity that
recognized the value of spiritual development and dedicated some internal
initiatives toward that objective, we remained of this world. We remained a
functioning part of the thinking and doing that is bringing this Planet to its
knees. Until we each made inner progress, we were unable and unwilling to set
our ego based agendas aside. Until we each made inner progress, our base
instincts governed; and fear and insecurity ordered our lives. Those steps out
of the wilderness of negative emotions and out of fear and scarcity can only be
taken individually and until people take those internal steps, they cannot play
a functioning role in greater good agendas.
That is the present status of
Humanity's team, both here in Canada and Globally. We are making progress and we
are gaining in organizational strength; but in truth, far greater numbers of
people must take those difficult and courageous inner steps before Humanity's
Team can exert the powerful influence that is our mandate. In my vision, that is
our near term objective, that is our present day goal. Simply put, Humanity's
Team Canada has the goal of recruiting teammates and of creating a supportive,
appreciative, and nurturing environment for Teammates, both old and new, so they
can make progress within their inner journeys.
I am continuously grateful
for the love and support delivered to me through Humanity's Team, and the loving
Teammates all around me; and my present day vision for Humanity's Team Canada,
is to grow in numbers and to create HT Groups, so that new teammates from coast
to coast have access to that same love and support that is available to
me.
This grassroots foundation of evolved and evolving human beings is
the foundation upon which tomorrow's influence will be built and like any
foundation, we must be diligent and we must be thorough, or our future efforts
will be jeopardized.
So join with me, add your own elements to this
growing vision, and welcome this awesome vehicle known as Humanity's Team into
our lives and into the well being of Humanity and the preservation of Planet
Earth.

Humanity's Team is very excited to
put together its first Canadian Gathering at the Drew House in Elora, Ontario.
The program begins at 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 28th and finishes at 4:00 p.m.
on Sunday, October 30th. Be prepared to stay busy, learn lots and have fun with
fellow HT’ers including those from the United States and Australia!
The
program will center on spiritual journey of self, the first and foremost
objective of the New Spirituality. All of us are part of HT because we feel the
call to "Do" on our to paths to "Be" and gatherings need to support and inspire
us all individually / collectively in this calling. As we know to give is to
receive, this is a format in which to do this one on one with each other.
Spirituality has many tools and avenues for personal development, and
speakers are booked on the following topics. Emotional Intelligence, A Course in
Miracles, Tapping your Intuition and Manifesting Infinite love to the World,
Past Life and Spiritual Journeys to help Empower you to find your Truth, Going
beyond the mind, a technique of the teachings of the Ishayas' Ascension, Chakras
and Dream Yoga and Gourmet cooking ( by Roger Dafau of Drew House). More to
follow on what we hope will be an elder speaking on Native Spirituality. Of
course we will have speakers from and about Humanities team and what's up with
that!
We also hope for DVDs/videos of one or two of the most
inspirational speakers from the Bard W W gathering in New York ( June 2005) , or
the Portland WW gathering ( 2003). These will be followed by facilitated
discussion. There will be instruction on creating an Intenders Circle, and how
you can use this tool with others.
Workshops planned are how to start,
maintain and facilitate a group; the CWG game as a tool to learn the concepts of
the New Spirituality; as well as how navigate and use the world wide web tools
to stay connected to Humanity's team everywhere - Nexus, Blogs, Forums and “
Intranet”.
The days and times will be full, starting with introductions
and networking Friday evening, beginning the mornings with meditation and
exercise before breakfast and end with live music and informal fun and
camaraderie Friday and Saturday night. There is no cost for this gathering, just
a request for a donation. Cost of accommodations (personal choice) and meals
(through Drew House) and T-shirt are separate.

A Closer Look at our Team
New members are welcomed into Humanity's Team Canada on a regular basis. This is a wonderful sign of the progressive growth of our team, and of the progressive spreading of the message, that We Are All One. So, thank you, teammates, for all you do and All You Are.
Now, ladies and gentlemen, in light of that, another valuable asset has been added to our fantastic Coordination Team: Kevin Watson. Kevin's taken over for Brandon as Canadian Web/IT Services Coordinator. I'll let him introduce himself.
Hi All,
I am finally getting around to officially
introducing myself to the whole team. I have been on a couple core team
conference calls, but don't think I've ever talked to everyone at once, and
there are probably a couple I've never met yet. My life has been quite the
whirlwind the past 6 weeks or so, but the dust is finally settling down enough
that I can devote much more time to HT.
First, a bit about myself.
My spiritual journey began as a Catholic, but I quickly realized that there had
to be more than what the Catholic Church taught and offered. I have
nothing against the Catholic Church, it gave me a good solid foundation from
which to begin to explore other teachings. In my teens I began to visit
bookstores weekly, looking for anything different, anything "new age" I could
find. I still have bookshelves filled with every book I've ever
bought. Books from Sylvia Brown to Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, and everything in
between. It is amazing the amount of spiritual material published today
compared to only 20 years ago. I tell you I can feel the change. I
can feel it everyday. It's getting quicker. It will be no time at
all before human consciousness has changed to oneness.
I read my first
"Neale" book, Conversations With God, Book 1, about 3 months ago. I had
actually heard a bit of the CWG audio tapes shortly before that, which is what
initially peaked my interest in the book. I have read many spiritual
books, but none had the impact that CWG did. It was the first book that
actually brought me to tears in certain sections. It was so beautiful, so
simple, and made so much sense. It solidified what I had believed for many
years through my readings and my own personal inner journeys. It also
brought forward a few new things I had never considered. Rarely do I find a book
that can do that.
The second book I read was "Tomorrow's God" and that is
how I came to know about HT. There was a website address at the back of
the book, which I followed and ultimately led me to HT Canada. I noticed
there was a call for IT help and since I am a software developer by day, I
figured I would offer
my computer skills to the team. Brandon called me
a few days later for an interview, and I became the Canadian Web/IT Services
Coordinator!
With Brandon moving on to bigger and better things, if you
have any Web/IT concerns, questions or suggestions on how to make things better
please let
me know. In the meantime I plan to get started on combining
the French and English websites with the help of Mireille & Maxim
(I'll contact you guys
soon!).
Well, I think I've babbled on long
enough. I will be attending the gathering at Elora, and hope to meet a lot
of you there in person!

Just to let you know how fast our Coordination Team is growing, here's yet another welcome addition. Thanks, Shawn, for stepping up. And now, a few words from Shawn himself.
Namaste And Greetings To All:
Allow me to formally, and humbly introduce myself to all of you. My name is Shawn Jimmo and I am eagerly taking on the position of Ottawa Coordinator for Humanity’s Team. It is a role that I accept with openness and glowing optimism, for I know this is a time when we can resonate together… we can expand our awareness of love, peace, light and oneness… we can look into each other’s eyes and say “Enjoy this journey, my dear friend, for we will take every step together!”
I believe I became aware of my purpose for the first time when I was about 13. I remember waking up one morning with an overwhelming sense of urgency circulating in me. It was as though I could not focus on the world in the same way, and as I lay in my bed (it was a Saturday morning) it occurred to me that I was preparing myself for something. And as the realization became more and more tangible within me, the sound of my own voice began to echo in my head.
“You are going to change the world!” I said to myself. And I guess that from that moment on, things were never the same. I was determined to find purpose in making this world a better place for everyone. I was passionate about growing and learning about the unbounded potential I knew was inside of me.
However, like any teenager learning about themselves and how they fit into the world, my journey began with a great deal of anger and frustration. I saw injustice all around me and I became more and more contracted inward. It was difficult for me to accept that people had the power to help each other, but they chose not to. I also grew angry with (what I perceived to be) the lack of passion for life and desire to grow that seemed the “norm.” I had not yet found acceptance, and I was not patient enough to enjoy the many varieties of people that make up this world.
This led me to turn away from the world, my parents and my friends, and by the time I was 18 I was fighting against what I thought I was trying to save. I believed that if I was stubborn enough and loud enough and defiant enough, I would ruffle enough feathers to break down the constructs that (I believed) limited everyone. What I didn’t realize was that I was only fighting myself, and I wasn’t getting any closer to my original goal because I was only alienating my self from my own truths. The warrior spirit in all of us is something to be admired and harnessed, but achieving mastery is a choice that is made through submission, and through peaceful admiration of the many contradictions and dichotomies that make up the wonders of the human experience. It is enough to say that I wasn’t ready to change the world, because I needed to change first.
It wasn’t until I hit “rock bottom” that I met a man who came into my life and helped me get back on track. I worked for him as a waiter, in a place called (get this) “The Rock Bottom Grill”. I would often talk with him about philosophy and life and purpose. One day handed me Conversations With God, Book 1. I remember cringing immediately and resisting. “I don’t believe in God… I am not religious.” My upbringing had no religion at all, and through my experiences both bright and dark, I grew to fear opening myself up to any kind of theology. I didn’t work well with rules.
I clearly remember how patiently he said “Neither am I… but this is not about what you think it is… If you’ll open your mind and read a little bit, I am sure you will find what you are looking for.”
Am I ever glad that I did!
From that moment on I began to find the voice that had always been deep inside of me. It seemed as though with every page I was inspired. I cried, I laughed and so many times I burst our almost unconsciously saying “WOW… THIS MAKES SO MUCH SENSE TO ME…” I believe you can all relate to the feeling of being understood. My journey had begun once again, and this time each step was bright and fulfilling and so motivating.
With the changing of my internal constructs came the opening of doors and the creation of responsibilities and opportunities. I found happiness in being an open, honest and caring person. I found a new appreciation for everyone, and I had experiences that ignited the candle of oneness within me. The more I learned about myself, the more I loved… and the more I loved, the more I was committed to helping others find the same inspiration.
I have read the entire Conversations With God Series, as well as Tomorrow’s God and What God Wants. My latest project is the “Part Of The Change” handbook that I found through What God Wants. I find that I can re-read them many times and take something different from them. I have branched my learning into other spiritual concepts, authors, philosophies and resources. I now make it a purpose to feel and learn from everyone, just as equally as I give my energy, love and light freely to the world.
I could go on for hours, even days on who I am, how I got here, and the many adventures that were poignant moments of decision, conflict and transition. What we really need to know is why I am here… the rest is a series of perfectly aligned moments that have ultimately led me to take all of your hands and join this beautiful circle today!
So here’s what I have to offer…
The world is in transition. We are among some of the most confusing, and obviously uneasy times that we have ever faced as a collectiveness. We are at a crossroads and the decision we make today will take give us wings to fly, as long as we decide together, from a place of love. The children, families and beings of this planet are desperate for leaders… they are desperate for hope. I know that I carry within me the strength and light… enough to help us all find our way home. Within me is the resonance and the song that is common within all of our hearts. I will join the orchestras of sweet music and together we can bring everyone together.
I am the one… the one of many… We are all equals in this journey, and we are all weaving the tapestry of this universe with the same fingertips. Our inspiration comes from the same heart… the reason I am here, is to help that heartbeat find its way to clarity.
I believe that my strongest skills are with people. I feel them and they feel me. I am transparent and innocent, open and loving and real, all at once. I am a spiritual being with the most beautiful of human experiences, and I believe I am able to relate equally to both worlds. I believe I am here to help bridge the gap between the bliss and endlessness of the collectiveness, with the everyday occurrences and “hands-on” realities of our time-bound human lives. People are looking to understand who they really are… I believe that my voice, my energy, my passion and my love will guide them to the truth within themselves. I have been to the darkest of places, and I have flown with angels… I believe that my humble hands will grow our circle and keep it strong.
My first task is to learn all that I can from the members of the team. You are an inspiration to me, and I have had the pleasure of speaking and even meeting with some of you. I will see you all at the gathering, I am sure! Your support and warm welcomes have made my heart beat with such pure joy… This is the beginning of something so wonderful, and I know we can all feel it! I plan to begin a group in Ottawa in November and I would love to get any suggestions and resources that will help me do that. You are all my mentors, and I am honored to be part of something so strong, enlightened and loving!
It is time my friends… let us fly together!

This month, our new BC Coordinator, Anne Cressy, would love to share her thoughts with our readers. Take it away, Anne - the floor's yours!
The God in Us
When the word used to represent the concept of God has become the equivalent of a curse, it stands to reason that it could be difficult to get people who feel God a curse to acknowledge that they are themselves God. (Especially people with self esteem issues.) If that is God, who'd want to have anything to do with It? I sure came to feel that way as a child in the arms of the Roman Catholic Church. As a ten year old I decided that if there was such a thing as God, God was Love. I knew for sure that was true. That was all I knew for sure. I still cling to that belief for dear life.
My God has grown. Today She includes love, life, truth, me, you - in short, oneness with all things. As my understanding of God grew over the years, so did my understanding of who is responsible for what during the operation of a human vessel. (That is a very personal and intimate operating manual, let me assure you.) I studied everything from the bible to the Urantia Book, with many stops in between. One phrase from author Jane Roberts' Seth Material rang true; it was simple and easy to remember. "I CREATE MY OWN REALITY." Another author Lobsang Rampa shared a prayer containing the words, "AS I THINK TODAY SO I WILL BE TOMORROW." Those words are also the truth. Practicing these mental constructs within the confines of the human vessel involves believing emotionally. I spent more years repeating the words author Marilyn Hayes had suggested as an antidote to self esteem issues: "I LOVE AND APPROVE OF MYSELF."
Once I experienced the watershed moment
of loving myself unconditionally, I was able to feel for real the Oneness I'd
read so much about. The awareness
of oneness grew, as unconditional love
sprouted in my life. Answers to previous mountains of problems appeared with
simple, lovely solutions, like forgiveness.
I was awake, most of the time. I was excited too. At first I ran around trying to wake everybody. I thought for sure I could personally turn on the lights of every individual on the planet. I started teaching about metaphorical light switches like the Book of Changes. I hadn't yet realized how truly individual the path to awakening is. I did remember and forget, over and over. No wonder the Masters repeat themselves!
Today I declare my willingness to raise the vibration rate of this planet by raising my own. In declaring myself willing to serve the good of the whole, opportunities to do exactly that come along timed perfectly to fit into my life. It feels good to be the God that I can be, creating for the good of the whole, now and always. This is where you come in. I'm asking for help. Help as often as you can, anybody you can, wherever you can. Help yourself. The God in Us is available to assist and guide. I find that just when I think I can't grow another inch, that I already have.
Asking for help has not been one of my strong points. I forget to ask God for help. I don't want to ask for help; I will help myself. Part of the resistance to asking for help is fear of getting "No" as an answer. I'll have to make a complete review of my belief systems before I can ask for help; that's a reliable way of putting off asking. My former mastery of procrastinating when I needed help often kept me strained and drained.
Now, the God in Us has excited my God
with the idea that if I share my struggle and ask for help, not only will the
help be forthcoming, more lights of understanding will shine. On the first day
of fall I wrote about how people had helped each other safely walk away from
potential airplane disaster scenes
in Toronto and LA. Building from the
premise that more consciousness working toward a common goal is better, I asked
that we visualize the conditions that were feeding hurricane Rita abating. When
I ask us to visualize Rita abating, I am coming from a place in me that
recognizes that I am responsible for the fact that she's on the rampage in the
first place. Cool waters, calm winds. We did that visualization. A few hours
after Rita made landfall this morning,
September 24th, she was downgraded to
a category one storm. Yes, yes, yes!
When it feels childlike to believe such things I remember that Jesus set little children in front of us as examples to emulate, not scoff at. Childlike wonder and awe can move mountains. In this world, such an attitude is the stuff of miracles. A child's love can move hearts of stone. When you love, when you are love, you are God, a creator. Drop all the brainwashing when it screams "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?" The instant we come from the childlike love and approval of ourselves that we were born with, we remember: we are God. Can you remember? Let me help!

A Story of Hope
I am a mother of three (ages 14 , 12, 3)
and have recently completed my college degree. The last class I had to take was
Sociology. The teacher was absolutely inspiring with the qualities that I wish
every human being had been graced with. Her last project of the term was called
"Smile." The class was asked to go out and smile at three people and document
their reactions.
I am a very friendly person and always smile at everyone
and say hello anyway, so, I thought this would be a piece of cake, literally.
Soon after we were assigned the project, my husband, youngest son, and I went
out to McDonald's one crisp March morning. It was just our way of sharing
special playtime with our son. We were standing in line, waiting to be served,
when all of a sudden everyone around us began to back away, and then even my
husband did. I did not move an inch. an . overwhelming feeling of panic welled
up inside of me as I turned to see why they had moved.
As I turned around
I smelled a horrible "dirty body" smell, and there standing behind me were two
poor homeless men. As I looked down at the short gentleman, close to me, he was
"smiling". His beautiful sky blue eyes were full of God's Light as he searched
for acceptance. He said, "Good day" as he counted the few coins he had been
clutching. The second man fumbled with his hands as he stood behind his friend.
I realized the second man was mentally challenged and the blue-eyed gentleman
was his salvation. I held my tears as I stood there with them.
The young
lady at the counter asked him what they wanted. He said, "Coffee is all Miss"
because that was all they could afford. (If they wanted to sit in the restaurant
and warm up, they had to buy something. He just wanted to be warm).
Then
I really felt it - the compulsion was so great I almost reached out and embraced
the little man with the blue eyes. That is when I noticed all eyes in the
restaurant were set on me, judging my every action.
I smiled and asked
the young lady behind the counter to give me two more breakfast meals on a
separate tray. I then walked around the corner to the table that the men had
chosen as a resting spot. I put the tray on the table and laid my hand on the
blue-eyed gentleman's cold hand.
He looked up at me, with tears in his
eyes, and said, "Thank you." I leaned over, began to pat his hand and said, "I
did not do this for you. God is here working through me to give you hope." I
started to cry as I walked away to join my husband and son. When I sat down my
husband smiled at me and said, "That is why God gave you to me, Honey, to give
me hope." We held hands for a moment and at that time, we knew that only because
of the Grace that we had been given were we able to give. We are not church
goers, but we are believers. That day showed me the pure Light of God's sweet
love.
I returned to college, on the last evening of class, with this
story in hand. I turned in "my project" and the instructor read it. Then she
looked up at me and said, "Can I share this?" I slowly nodded as she got the
attention of the class. She began to read and that is when I knew that we as
human beings and being part of God share this need to heal people and to be
healed. In my own way I had touched the people at McDonald's, my husband, son,
instructor, and every soul that shared the classroom on the last night I spent
as a college student.
I graduated with one of the biggest lessons I would
ever learn: UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE.

Letter from the Editor
Humanity's Team - Releasing The Secret of Shambhala
Has anyone read "The Secret of Shambhala: In Search of the Eleventh Insight" ? Wow! What an inspirational book. This is the third book in the Celestine Prophecy series by James Redfield. If you haven't read the first two books, then I highly recommend them. The first book, "The Celestine Prophecy", delves into the Nine Insights. Briefly, those insights are: A Critical Mass; The Longer Now; A Matter of Energy; The Struggle for Power; The Message of the Mystics; Clearing the Past; Engaging the Flow; The Interpersonal Ethic; and The Emerging Culture. it's quite obvious from those points where all this goes, especially taking into consideration the last one - The Emerging Culture.
That's what the people of this wonderful planet Earth need to do to unite in thought and deed; to unite in a unified culture. And that culture is definitely emerging. Take a look around you. (Of course, you have to look past the negatives, forward to the real state of the people - that state of unity and love.) But when you look there, to the real picture, you see thousands of people searching for the New Spirituality. People all around the world are looking for answers - answers to questions that their organized religions just don't have. But we, as Humanity's Teammates, know where the answers are. We know that every answer to every question is right there - within ourselves. And we know that there's a definite movement towards remembering Who We Really Are.
Here's a quote from James Redfield in describing his first book: "I wrote the book to be a parable about the search for spirituality in our time, an adventure that weaved together personal experience with ideas about the new spiritual renaissance slowly emerging on our planet. I felt that this "new awareness" was manifesting through what amounted to mass "Insights" or "revelations" moving through human culture." Does that remind you of the purpose of Humanity's Team? Does it bring to light our mission - to bring the New Spirituality to people all around the globe?
So back to James Redfield's inspiration. In his second book, "The Tenth Insight: Holding the Vision", the next step is taken - a step towards "holding the vision" of the Universe; a step towards understanding how to harness this energy for the good of all mankind, and holding it long enough to synchronize it with the Universe. Again, here we are: Humanity's Team - ready to spread the word that We Are All One, and that we have the collective power of spiritual consciousness to bring all people together in love.
Then, the "coup de gras", so to speak - "The Secret of Shambhala: The Search for the Eleventh Insight". This story took our "hero" deep into the effects of synchronicity, a term used quite frequently throughout the three books. It's interesting to consider the definition of "synchronicity" found at www.wikipedia.org: Synchronicity is a word created by the Swiss psychologist Carl Jung to describe the alignment of "universal forces" with the life experiences of an individual. Jung believed that many experiences perceived as coincidences were not merely due to chance, but instead reflected the creation of an event or circumstance by the "co-inciding" or alignment of such forces.
Take your reading of this newsletter, for example. The words you see here could be precisely placed in front of you, in precisely the optimum time for you to hear them. It's no coincidence. It's synchronicity. And synchronicity can also be found in the relation between "The Secret of Shambhala" and Humanity's Team's Mission. Again, it's no coincidence.
Without giving away the story (for those who intend to read the book) we'll suffice it to say that, at one point, there are many spiritual leaders gathered together, searching the world for unfavorable situations, like violence, crime, abuse, and any other circumstance where somebody is using their low vibrational negative energy to try to influence somebody or something else. In every case, these spiritual leaders send their high vibrational energy, collectively (which increases it even more) to each and every one of these negative situations, eventually raising the positive energy level so high that everyone involved in the situation feels no need to harm anyone else in any way but, instead, chooses to alter the situation to a more positive result.
Now, stop and look at yourself. You're reading this newsletter because you've been led to a place where you're needed in some way. Perhaps it's just your positive energy that's needed. Or perhaps, conversely, you're the one who needs a shot of positive energy. Either way, these words on this page are meant for you! They're meant to tell you that, as a member of Humanity's Team (or even if you're just thinking about joining), you've chosen to spread the message that "We Are All One". Just like the spiritual leaders in "The Secret of Shambhala", it's your responsibility to raise your energy level, and to transport it to places where it's needed - places where there's poverty; places where there's hunger; places where there's violence; places where there's sadness and despair.
That is what Humanity's Team is all about. And that is Humanity's Team's goal. And that is why you're here - to join in this onederful mission to help those less fortunate than yourselves. Just as did those in Shambhala, you now have the opportunity to help those who need Love. To help those who need Truth. To help those who need Joy. To give of yourselves, to others. To give of your souls, to other souls. To unite your minds and your hearts - as One. Because, again, that's the reality of Life: We Are All One.
