Important Message for Canadian Humanity’s Team Mates

Last year I attended the World Wide Humanity’s Team Global Council and Oneness Summit in Argentina to represent HT Canada. I shared our work with the World Wide team and from that has come many wonderful connections for us this past year. Of the 93 Humanity’s Team countries world wide, we in Canada have the second largest amount of Team-mates, about 1,000 and growing every month.

What is our mission? Why are we a Humanity’s Team movement?
Our mission is to “Awaken the World/Canada to Oneness”, we are part of Humanity’s Team movement to show the world by our actions that “We Are All One”. So peace will prevail.
One of the ways we can do this is to be present at the Global Council and Oneness Summit. All Humanity’s Team Country Coordinators make up the Global Council who meet once a year at a week long gathering in a different country every year. This is to help each other in our work towards Oneness/Peace in our world. In April 2009 it will be held in South Africa.

The Core Team of Canada felt that this year we wanted to put it out to our Humanity’s Team-mates whether YOU will want to have representation at Global Council in April of 2009? If You do, then the Humanity’s Team-mates will need to take the responsibility for financing the trip. Up until now Country Coordinators have used there own money and some HT money to be able to attend.
A Call to Action:
If each of our Humanity’s Team-mates can give $10.00 (or more), we could fund our presence at Global Council, and have a voice and input into this very important work in our world today.

We will need your contribution by the middle of December to book for the Global Meeting.
We have never asked for any funds from the Team-mates in the 4 years that Humanity’s Team has been in action. We feel that it is time for Humanity’s Team Canada to move ahead and take leadership in sending their Country Coordinator to the yearly Global Council Meeting in the future.
What will Canada receive by doing this?
When I went to Argentina and attended the Oneness Summit of 400 people and I introduced myself, that I was here representing Canada, the loudest clapping that I have ever heard filled the room. We are loved in other countries. And that wasn’t all. Then I said that I brought them a gift, our Canada Mandala created by Canadian Artist Russell Maier, free of charge, which was proudly placed on the left side of the stage so I could point to it. Some of you sent in your picture for it. Well then the second round of applause came, louder than the first. We are highly respected by other countries and we have the opportunity to be a role model for HT.
Canada has a lot to offer other countries who do not have the resources that we do. So it is in Giving that we will Receive. We have prints made of the Mandala and those that give $25.00 or more will receive a free print. Otherwise Prints are $10.00 each.
