SHARING

Economy is slowing down everywhere. Possible job losses are threatening. Our nest egg for retirement is loosing its thickness! They're all reasons that encourage us to better manage our talents and our tools!

They are also the best opportunities to change our habits. Instead of BUYING presents, why don't we offer to SHARE our talents?

You are known for making excellent meat pies? Then you make a few more and offer them as a gift!
A friend or a neighbour is hardly mobile? You offer this person to drive him/her and do the shopping together.
You have time and skills for school work? Spend a few hours with your nephews and nieces or your friends' children to help them with their daily homework.
Your carpets need to be cleaned periodically? Create of group of people who will share the cost of the carpet cleaning machine and you can use it in turn.
You are skilled with woodwork? Get together with other people like you and make small pieces of furniture, toys, and utility or decorative objects that you can offer your relatives or needy people.
You like to knit? Organize a group of knitters and create handicraft items to offer as presents, they will be much appreciated.
During the Christmas period, a lot of people are all alone. Why not invite a neighbour or an acquaintance over for a Christmas dinner with your family!

There are thousands of ways to share. Particularly, this year, let's make this celebration season an occasion to show our togetherness and our sense for ONENESS.

Peace and happiness ARE within us. Let's open our heart, listen to our soul and be examples of serenity and peace for a better world!
