HT Canada Yellow Brick House Event

Humanity's Team Canada offered the facilities of Pleasure Valley to the women of Yellow Brick House (www.yellowbrickhouse.org) for a day of fun, games, food and drinks on September 25, 2010.

Yellow Brick House, operating in its 32nd year, provides emergency shelter, counselling and supportive services to abused women and children.  Yellow Brick House programs are designed to help women and children rebuild their lives and live free from abuse. Last year alone, Yellow Brick House provided shelter and services to nearly 4500 women and children. Still, over 600 women and children were turned away. Yellow Brick House is respondingto this critical need for help by raising the funds needed to open a second emergency shelter for abused women and children.
